When Bissell Pet Foundation reached out for our assistance with dogs being affected by the flooding caused by Tropical Storm Debby in South Carolina and Georgia, we were ready to help. Through the hard work of staff and volunteers, support of our fosters, and generosity of our donors; we were able to take in 30 dogs and puppies that were living in shelters in the affected areas. This got the dogs out of danger and opened up space for pets that may have been displaced during the storm. Seeking your Help
We Need Your Help!
As everyone is aware the world is in unrest. What once was a given, sometimes even taken for granted, is no more. Prices are soaring, people are out of work, being evicted and having to make choices to feed their animals or their families, or even to put gas in their cars to go to work to try to earn a living.
What does that have to do with rescue, you ask? Here is the answer. More people than ever are surrendering their pets to rescues. What happens when a rescue or the County shelter can’t take them? Many are just let go. Due to the rising costs of spay/neuter at veterinary clinics, many are unaltered and accidental litters are on the rise, overburdening shelters even more. How can you help in these tough times? Here are some ways to help.
Donate to Noah’s Vision Quest. Noah’s Ark has a low-income veterinary clinic and needs a new X-ray machine to continue to work at the level our community needs. 100% of every donation towards this goes directly to help our community.
Donate to the shelter. Every donation helps to feed and care for the dogs and cats aboard the Ark and provide medical care for them. Can’t donate?
Fundraise. Either on your own through work or special occasion activities or you can become part of our fund-raising committee. Help us to keep our mission going with our fund-raising activities. Can’t commit to a committee or fund raising?
Volunteer. We are trying to restructure our shelter to be more volunteer based – can you spare two hours a week to help us care for the dogs and cats aboard the Ark? Even walking them is a great help. Can’t volunteer?
Foster. Become a foster, short term or long term. Animals do so much better when in foster homes than in a brick-and-mortar shelter. Although we consider them to be one of our own and take the utmost care of them, we are not there 24/7. Can’t foster?
Gather. Gather the items on our wish list or needed items listed and bring them to the shelter. This helps to keep our costs down so we can help more dogs and cats. Can’t’ gather?
Spread the word of our needs. Someone you may know may be able to help us. You, and you alone, make the difference in how many dogs and cats we can help. Your generosity is all that makes our organization keep working tirelessly to help. If you are a past or present donor, we cannot thank you enough for everything you do.
We are but the wings, you, our community, are the air that makes us soar.

Noah's Ark Launches Noah's Vision Quest Capital Campaign
We are launching a campaign, Noah's Vision Quest, to raise $50K for our new X-Ray machine at Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic. This was a critical investment in animal health and welfare as our previous X-Ray machine became obsolete. This equipment enhances the medical care provided to animals at our sanctuary, animals from other local rescues, and pets in the community. We invite businesses and professionals to join us in this vital effort. Your contribution is not just a donation; it’s a commitment to community responsibility and compassionate care. Together, we can ensure every paw gets the care it deserves. More information here: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/noahsvision
Noah's Ark Seeks Office Volunteers
We are on the hunt for a few pawe-some office volunteers!
Office volunteers help greet customers, answer and direct phone calls, input data, coordinate events, organize donations, take cat photos and so much more! Shifts are as short as 2 hours and as long as you would like.
Able to help us out for 2 hours a week? We would greatly appreciate it! Please submit an application at https://www.noahsarkanimals.org/volunteer-form or email volunteer@noahsarkanimals.org for more information. It truly takes a village to run a shelter and we're calling upon you for help! Thank you for your consideration.
